Family pictures

We finally got our family pictures done and the kids!! Yeah! I'm embarrassed to say that the last time Kiley and Kade had their pictures done was 3 years ago and our family picture was 3 1/2 years ago. Well...better late than never right! Our friend Jen took these and she did a great job. It was beautiful outside with the trees frosted over. Olivia didn't show her cute big smile, so we will have to try again in the spring. Anyway, it was good to get them done.

Valentines Day project

We got our family pictures done a couple of weeks ago and the kids wanted to do something for Ki for Valentines Day. He needed a frame for his family picture for work, so we decided to make one for him. Kiley painted the frame and stamped the "all u need is love" on the top. Kade painted all of the letters in family. They chose the colors and did an excellent job! I was pretty impressed with their quality of work.

Fun pictures taken the last couple of months

Olivia was crawling around the house, exploring and fell over and into this box. She couldn't get out and I had to grab a picture. Sad but funny.
A couple of days this last week were beautiful weather wise. The kids jump at the chance to go outside and play. We are all a little tired of being stuck in the house! They took out Kades hotwheels and extended their track with a piece of rain gutter. They had a blast and I got a little piece and quiet. It was a win win for all!!
Kiley and Kade were playing house and you guessed it...Olivia was their baby. Here Kiley is rocking her to sleep.
Olivia fell asleep in her chair while eating. I always wanted one of my kids to do this because I think it is so cute. As far as I can remember...Kiley and Kade never did. Cute.
Kiley gave this puzzle to Ki for Christmas. We thought it would be on the table for at least a week. We actually finished it in about 2 1/2 days. The kids helped (even Liv, she knocked a couple of pieces off) and we had a lot of fun doing it together. Pretty fun huh, Dad!

When Olivia was just starting to think about crawling, she did this pose a couple of times. I call it her yoga pose.

Olivia is 6 months!

Olivia is 6 months old today. I can't believe it! Time really does fly...after the first couple of months. She has been such a sweet addition to our family. She is eating cereal, fruits and veggies very well. She has tackled biter biscuits and puffs. She hasn't got her sippy cup down yet so her favorite way to drink is from a cup. She is crawling and has started grabbing everything!
Kiley and Kade were throwing paper airplanes and running by Olivia this morning. She just laughed and laughed. There is nothing sweeter than seeing those three together and hearing them laugh together. I feel blessed and humbled to be their mother.

Officially Crawling

Olivia has been rocking back and forth for about a month. She officially started crawling Tuesday. She gets just about everywhere and is getting better and better with each day. It is cute to see her getting around and of course Kiley and Kade think she is amazing! For me, it's exciting but she is growing up way to fast!!! If I only knew how to slow down time. :0)

Drake Christmas Party

We have a Christmas party with my family every year. This year it was on New Years Day because that is the only day we could all get together. It is always fun to be with family and spend time together. I love each of my siblings and their families. I also have awesome parents and love them very much. One of the activities we did this year was sledding. It was so much fun to see everyone having fun sledding and playing in the snow. And in case you are ever short on sleds, cardboard on top of plastic works great!
This is me going down once with Kiley and Kade. It was pretty fun, although I have not been for so long I was afraid of breaking my back. I had each of the kids on a leg and my arms around them so I wasn't holding on at all. I felt very vulnerable especially when we spun and were going backwards!
